My dad and brother-in-law and our friend came to help us wreck out the basement and old fence today- moldy drywall came down today in the basement, and some mattresses went up to my parents' to be stored. A deck/patio also came out today.
It was rainy, muddy work.
Playroom....sometimes progress feels good and bad at the same time.
Seedlings are trucking along.
Patio is gone- Dad sledged it out!
More fence is gone, to make room for a ditch digging machine this week to dig a French drain.
I can not believe how many gallons of water come through this tiny crack in the foundation when it rains hard. It rained hard again tonight.
My mom was amazing today- she watched all three kids from about 8:30 to 7:30. E spent the night at my parents' last night too. We worked on the house projects 9-2, and then had time for long and hot showers, and spent the afternoon at the Botanical Gardens.
Cocoa came home with this snazzy hat.
Found this in the flower bed this morning- it is what's left of a little pumpkin from last Halloween.

Are you guys going to waterproof the outside of the foundation? I think there is some sort of barrier you can put up, but it means digging around the exterior of your home to install it.
