Local Dialect Meme

I heard about this  meme going around from the spectacular Su and it looked like so much fun!

I hope you guys will play along too, it's really a hoot to hear all the different voices, and put voices to names!

Recording this was really fun...watching it was surprising, I don't remember the last time I really watched myself talk on video tape!  I didn't know I looked like this, haha.  I did a second take, just in case, but didn't realize my camera was zoooomed in on my face.  I watched it and all I could think was "HEY!  TEETH!"  This was was much better :)

If you do your own post, let me know, I'd love to come and see!

Myrnie's Dialect Meme from Myrnie Twin on Vimeo.

Here are the words I'll read, and the questions I'll answer:

And these are the questions:

What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?

Myrnie, I wish I had your speaking voice. Come on! It's fantastic. And I really like hearing the little nuances and different ways in which you pronounce your words.
