I Need Your Input!

Alright y'all, I need your help.  I've been writing this blog since October of 2007, and keeping track of all the silly little projects I've done.

Well, now someone (I'm not naming names...) at church started reading my blog and LIKES those projects!  I know- right after she told me, a pig flew over our heads.

She then sheepishly admitted she'd volunteered me to teach a 5-minute lesson at an upcoming church ladies' night on...I'm not sure what.  How to make gifts for really cheap?  *grin*

So this is where I need your help:  take a look at my projects on the left...and what would YOU include?  The theme for the evening is "Retreat to Abundance" so we're looking for things that are frugal and fabulous.

You know, like making your own ricotta- just takes a few minutes, is really inexpensive, tastes 10 times better than the store brand...and your friends are completely impressed with your mad skills.

Thanks for your help!

You already saw my ideas...but if you're going to go the food route, I'd HIGHLY recommend teaching marmalade. It is so RIDICULOUSLY easy in the food processor. I cut two oranges into 1/8ths, then pulsed them in the processor about 10 times until they were in pea-sized chunks. The HARDEST part was cooking it up. My stove is NOT idea for making candy, as the jam would go up 15 degrees every time the burner cycled on, and down 14 every time it cycled off.

For fantastic and frugal for adults the bead and wire necklace. For kids the fairy skirt. For babies the burp cloths.
You might want to get more of an idea, so you can pick specifically what they're looking for.

Oh my goodness girl- I like them all...how to choose. Well I'm a sucker for old window frames- your picture frame earring holder is to die for, although that may be hard to do with a big group. I'm not much help...sorry. Whatever you do I'm sure they will love. =)

I haven't been that excellent at following. What I have seen, I think is awesome. As far as frugal things.....maybe items where you recycle and reuse things to make other awesome things would be nice. Wow, not very descriptive, lots of things. haha

I love the earrings. You make it look easy, it seems like something everyone can do..... but just don't. I think you can make that a great class!!

I love those flowers! And they brighten up any outfit. I also vote for earrings and other jewelry as well - it's very relaxing to make.

Have fun doing that class!

How could you go wrong? All of your creations are something I'd love to know how to do. I'd just chose something you enjoy and feel really comfortable doing.

Okay, not to be a downer, but don't do anything that you sell on Etsy, because that's how you make a little extra money, right? It's kinda rude for people to ask you to show them (for free!) how to make the things you sell, isn't it? Just a little pet peeve of mine with that "church ladies' night." But you're probably much nicer than me!
