I am exhausted for some reason and the thought of all that labor is enough to send me to bed. Then,...I look at all of your planting and I feel frustrated. It is so nice to get one's hands in the soil and to watch green things grow. And, oh, the harvest...I'm leaving for NC and VA in two days...maybe I can at least pot a few tomatoes and herbs. What do you think?

Guess what? I took my eyeglass chain to "The Bead Fairy", a local store, and the proprieter sat me down and fixed my chain for me with new thingamajigs at the ends. They are black and not as pretty, but I can use my beautiful chain again. I'm so thrilled! Now, I will know where my glasses are again.

Have a wonderful Sabbath!
ElizabethElizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00495298953834229360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6712792048803588321.post-53800898868835715672009-06-06T21:09:39.682-07:002009-06-06T21:09:39.682-07:00Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

Thanks so much for the tip!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6712792048803588321.post-41867345359417409832009-06-06T19:54:42.901-07:002009-06-06T19:54:42.901-07:00Thanks for sharing! At least the drought seems to be over in our area.

Do you think just adding more soil to the potatoes would do(in lieu of straw)? Mine are like yours, over the top now, and I was just going to bury all but a little in soil.Alexandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12356420873078531863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6712792048803588321.post-34092575325048483552009-06-06T09:32:48.127-07:002009-06-06T09:32:48.127-07:00I think I am going to need a more specific tutoria...I think I am going to need a more specific tutorial on the basil :( I went and looked at my plant... I just can't seem to see the buds. I know possibly a bit pathetic.

Your garden is amazing! It must be SO much work to keep up. Maybe one day I'll be so daring as to try my hand at a real garden. For now, my basil plant in my window will have to do ;)PJ and Rachellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09359190264044087062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6712792048803588321.post-69196985659719549862009-06-06T08:14:56.478-07:002009-06-06T08:14:56.478-07:00My green onions look the same way...but my basil i...My green onions look the same way...but my basil is nowhere NEAR ready to pinch.
